PROGRAMS
WASSCE Remedial
This is a two-part program (morning and evening) designed to assist S.H.S graduates who did not fare well on their final examination. The School has qualified teachers who are eager to assist students in improving their grades so that they can enroll in the program of their choosing at a tertiary institution and, eventually, pursue their future vocations. Students can fail tests not because they refuse to learn, but because they chose the wrong programs.
One Year WASSCE
This program is for students who have completed Junior High School but have been unable to enroll in Senior High Schools due to a variety of factors. It permits students to offer courses that they would normally take at S.H.S. in just one (1) year. It’s incredible that a four-year program may be completed in a year. At Dasein, this is possible thanks to our experienced and dedicated teachers who prepare students effectively for the WASSCE.”
Adult Education
The Adult literacy or Adult Education programme is designed for adults who have not been to school before or have not received the basic level education, or attended the school but could not complete the basic level but wish to know how to read and write the English language and also to receive basic level education and then proceed to the Second Cycle level of education.
International Programs
At DASEIN, our competent teachers who are examiners as well, with in depth knowledge about these programmes, make sure that the syllabuses are completed before the time for the exams. They also make students aware of the rules and regulations governing these exams to ensure discipline during examination.
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
The TOEFL program is a three-month intensive course designed to adequately prepare students for the English language proficiency exam required by international universities. Learners undergo regular assessments to monitor their progress and ensure they are ready for the final test.
SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)
This is a three-month intensive program designed to help students strengthen their English and Mathematics skills in preparation for admission into universities abroad. Our instructors administer regular assessments to track students’ progress and evaluate their readiness for the exam.
ACT (American College Testing)
The ACT is a standardized test used for undergraduate admissions into universities and colleges in the United States and other countries. The exam assesses students’ readiness for university-level work by testing their skills in English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science, with an optional Writing section.
Duolingo English Test (DET)
The Duolingo English Test is a modern, fast, and convenient English proficiency exam accepted by thousands of universities and institutions worldwide. It evaluates a student’s ability in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, using an adaptive online testing system.
GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)
The GMAT program assesses students’ proficiency in both Mathematics and English. At Dasein Practical School, learners receive comprehensive tutoring in these subjects, along with practical computer training since the exam is computer–based. Students are also guided through effective test–taking strategies and techniques to help them answer questions with confidence and achieve excellent results.
